From parties to concerts to incredible shows, there’s something for everyone to do and enjoy! Here are some of the top events that will be happening in August.
The Big Stage
Although Vegas is better known for its parties and casinos, it is also home to fantastic concerts. Some of the biggest names in the industry will be taking their greatest hits to the Las Vegas stage. Jennifer Lopez (All I Have) and Britney Spears (Piece of Me) will be performing at Planet Hollywood, and Mariah Carrey (#1 to Infinity) will be performing at Caesars Palace.
For a musical trip down memory lane, tributes for the likes of Michael Jackson, Prince, and Elvis will also be on at Stratosphere, Westgate Las Vegas, and Hooters respectively. If you’re looking for a memorable night out, these shows are not to be missed!
A Bit of Broadway
A different section of the music scene; some of the greatest Broadway shows will be available to watch in August too! Tony-Award winning Jersey Boys will be on at Paris Las Vegas, and if you’re looking for something a bit more old-school, you can enjoy some 80s rock at Rock of Ages at Rio Las Vegas, or a more classical vibe with The Sound of Music at The Smith’s Center.

If you’re looking for a performance that will knock your socks off, Vegas is the right place to be! The Cirque du Soleil is one of the biggest ongoing shows which offers a large variety of acts across different venues such as Treasure Island, Mirage, Bellagio, and the Circus Circus Hotel, Casino and Themepark.
‘Le Rêve – The Dream’ is a visually stunning show that takes place at Wynn las Vegas. It is all about leaving reality behind to explore the surreal and dark world of the mind’s subconscious, and will remain with you forever.
Planet Hollywood will be host to incredible shows such as ‘V- The Ultimate Variety Show’ where you will see a selection of highly-talented specialty acts from stunning gymnastic feats to hilarious comedy, ‘Vegas! The Show’ which features an award-winning cast, big band orchestra, and scores of beautiful showgirls reliving some of the greatest moments in Las Vegas history, and ‘Zombie Burlesque’ which is a set of comedy and variety acts set in 1958 and performed by sexy zombies with classic burlesque and musical numbers.
Hit the Clubs
For a great night of drinking and dancing the night away, there’s always something going on at the hottest clubs in Sin City. Some of the top DJs in the industry such as Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, DJ Fergie, Skrillex, Tiesto and Afrojack, as well as performers like Nelly, Lil Jon and Jermaine Dupri, will be doing what they do best at clubs including Omnia at Caesars Palace, XS at Encore, Hakkasan and Wet Republic at MGM Grand, TAO at The Venetian, and Drais Nightclub at The Cromwell.
