Summer is right round the corner, and what better way to spend it than in Las Vegas – doing all kinds of exciting activities? There are countless things to do in summer here in Vegas, but these are some of our favorites.
Las Vegas Pool Scene
The Las Vegas pool scene is quite unlike any other… from lazy rivers to shark tanks to musical performances, this scene has got to be one of the best! There are several pool parties that go on throughout the summer such as Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel, and Ditch Fridays at the Palms, as well as luxurious experiences including the Azure Pool at The Palazzo, the Caesars Palace Garden of the Gods Oasis, and Wet Republic, the ‘ultrapool’ at MGM Grand that combines a nightlife vibe with poolside luxury.
Poolside musical performance venues include The Cosmopolitan, Green Valley Ranch, Mandalay Beach, Hard Rock, and the Red Rock Resort.
If you’re after something different and happen to be into the yoga vibe, you can also do “yoga with the dolphins” where you would find your relaxation while they swim nearby. If you‘re not a fan of yoga but you like dolphins, you could go for a painting session with them, after which you get to keep the painting!
Attractions
Las Vegas isn’t just for gambling… there are many stunning attractions to visit and admire too! No matter what kind of attractions tickle your fancy, you’re sure to find something you like here. For starters, there is the world’s largest Ferris wheel; The High Roller, which allows you to have a gorgeous view of Vegas whether you choose to go during the day or at night.
There are also sites such as the Grand Canyon, the Hoover Dam, the Springs Reserve and Mount Charleston, and museums such as the Neon Museum, and even the Titanic Exhibition or the Mob Museum if you fancy something a little outside the norm.
Nightlife and Restaurants
Needless to say, there are plenty of choices when it comes to nightlife and dining in Las Vegas. Some of the best clubs in Vegas include XS, Tao, Hakkasan and Marquee.
In terms of dining, for a quick fuel up, the Double Barrel Roadhouse at Monte Carlo or Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen at The LINQ Hotel and Casino would be a good bet, so to speak. If you’re in the mood for some good pizza, head to the Fremont East District and grab a slice or two (or ten) at Pizza Rock. For a more party-like dining atmosphere, Señor Frog’s in Treasure Island might suit your fancy.
There are loads of other awesome things to do in Las Vegas including tours, private helicopter or plane rides, driving a NASCAR, and many more. Be sure to spend your summer doing all sorts of things that will give you many more fun stories to tell!
