Viva Vision Light Show at Fremont Street Experience
Again, this is a free show at Fremont Street Experience – a must-see attraction in Las Vegas! Over 17 million visitors a year take in the Viva Vision light shows at Fremont Street Experience – so be sure you won’t be the one missing out! The massive high-resolution Viva Vision video screen is hung 90 feet above Fremont Street’s popular pedestrian shopping center, and complemented by some of the world’s most legendary casinos and hotels.
You’d be able to enjoy a range of light shows with alluring, high-res imagery and ultramodern, 550,000-watt, concert-quality sound. The Viva Vision screen is made up of 12.5 million energy-efficient LED lamps. Shows are about six minutes each, and run every hour, beginning at dusk (between 6:00 p.m and 8:00 p.m., based upon the season). The Viva Vision Light Shows usually end at midnight (in the summer, shows run until 1:00 a.m.).
Mount Charleston Saturday Patio Parties
Is the daytime heat getting to you? Then what are you waiting for, come where it’s cool and revel in an entertaining, peaceful day on the Mountain at The Resort on Mount Charleston’s Saturday Patio Parties! Held all summer long, from 2pm till 8pm, on the front pond-side patio every Saturday until the end of September! Enjoy live music, lawn games and drink specials – what’s more, entry is FREE! Party Like it’s Your Birthday
With so many nightclubs to choose from, Vegas has a multitude of nightlife spots that are sure to make your nights unforgettable. If you’re a die-hard party-animal, you most definitely need to check out XS club situated just round the corner of The Encore Hotel and Casino. Dance the night away with some of the world’s top DJs like Avicii, Zedd, Skrillex, and Deadmau5. Make sure you dress to impress because this club radiates upscale style. Open on Mondays, and Thursdays through Saturdays from 10pm till 4am.
Hot August Nights
This event is targeted towards all the Vintage Car aficionados is a function open to all 1976 and older classic cars pickup trucks and emergency vehicles. There will be a car show, vendors, drag races, concerts, cruises, poker run, poker walk, and a parade. Interesting fact: In 2013, over $100,000 was awarded in prizes for Best of Show and Ultimate Best of Show. This up-and-coming event sounds like a great time for car enthusiasts, but you’ll have to plan accordingly since it’s not in the Las Vegas Area and is about 7 hours (450 Miles +/-).
Hot August Nights will be happening at two main venues, with times slots from 9am-5pm:
– Virginia City: 29th – 30th July
– Reno/Sparks: 2nd – 7th August
