Two of Las Vegas’ leading hotels, Wynn and Encore, have announced the launch of their hotly anticipated mobile sport betting app, Wynn Mobile Sports. 

Sports enthusiasts will be able to download the complimentary app as of Monday, February 29 from the Apple App Store for iPhone and from Google Play for Android.

The user friendly interface, designed in partnership with Miomni, will offer a wide range of functionalities that allow users to bypass any lines in the sports book and place wagers while enjoying other resort amenities. The app will feature various types of wagers including straight bets, parlays, future books, and more.

Commenting on the launch, Johnny Avello, director of race and sports operations at Wynn Las Vegas said “This is an exciting development we’ve been working on for quite some time and are pleased to now be able to offer this amenity to our guests. Whether dining in our restaurants, lounging by the pools or in your guest room, the Wynn Mobile Sports allows guest to enjoy the first-rate, luxury experience of our Race & Sportsbook in the palm of their hand.”

Built to make sports betting easier, Wynn Mobile Sports will complement the resort’s newest gaming venture, Encore Players Club, a 5,013-square-foot interactive luxury lounge with gaming, mobile sports betting and social games including Suzo Happ InteractivePro tables, shuffleboard and billiards.

Future updates to the app will include include in-game live betting, pari-mutual wagering, red card integration, and more.

Leroy’s App, launched in 2010, was the first mobile sports-betting app in Nevada. William Hill along with Boyd Gaming are among the other operators who run their own sports-betting apps.

To use the app, players do not have to live in Nevada, but are required to be there to use it. Interstate sport betting is illegal n the USA.
